Live from the uber-modern architectural Triennale Milano, the recent Gucci menswear show in Milan, Italy, was a spectacle of style. Think hues of brown, pastel pinks, and blues. Red, with a touch of crimson, still holds strong.
Ankle boots with pointy tips and iconic horsebit details were effortlessly chic for the classic man. Structured leather silhouettes in a natural palette of black and white stood out.
Oversized outerwear remains a trend, complemented by beaded blazers in green and gilded gold. A new summer sneaker in Gucci green, taupe, and grey caught everyone’s eye.
Soft pastel hues of periwinkle and lilac countered the edgy structured leather silhouettes. An iconic ankle boot with the horsebit detail complemented a thin belt and mini bag. Subtle patterns matched back to simple silhouettes and neutrals.
Short shorts ala Prada paired back to a lilac layered look. An iconic travel bag with multi compartments and satchels galore paired back to crisp white jumpers.
As David Bowie’s “Modern Love” closed out the show, it was clear this collection will inspire men to embrace the effortlessly elegant style only a modern man can truly pull off.
